Dancestation news: November
November Reminders:
Tuition. Parents/Guardians please try to get your monthly tuition in by the first week of each month. It has been a challenge paying the teachers and the bills each month with so much of the tuition trickling in towards the end of the month. Starting in November, I will send out reminder postcards at the 15th of every month to families with tuition still due. I’m trying my hardest to avoid using late fees.
The recital fee of $10 (per family) is due in November. I have recently had the opportunity to tour the new McKendree College auditorium. They have our recital dates open (June 8th and 9th), and they are wonderful to work with. So I have decided to use The Hett Center for the Arts (at McKendree College) for this year’s recital. It’s only about 10 minutes away, and it is a beautiful facility. There is a picture of the auditorium hanging on the bulletin board if you are curious!
Watch week/Parent Observation begins November 13-18. Parents/relatives are invited in to watch each class. Please remember to turn off your cell phones and keep small children well supervised.
Halloween. There are no classes on Tuesday October 31. Make-up classes are available if you so choose.
T-shirts and sweatpants should be here within the next week. Many of the girls have requested hooded sweatshirts; I will try and make those available for December.
Congratulations to our 2006-2007 State Street Dance Company. Rehearsals are under way and the girls are looking forward to their Spring performance.
Thanksgiving/Fall Break is November 20-26. Happy Thanksgiving from all of the teachers and staff at DanceStation!
Thanks! Elizabeth
